Spread the love...

I just spotted these on Poppytalk and had to share them. They made me smile and brought out the graphic designer in me... the colours and fonts are beautiful and inspired. I miss the city for graffiti sometimes - never thought I'd be saying that! You can see them all here.. a love letter for you

Post and Packing...

Its always nice when lovely packages arrive through the post from other etsy shops... the way people package their products with such care and attention it sometimes seems a shame to open them! With this in mind we've been trying to come up with ways to brighten up our parcels. Here's a little peek at some address & return address labels we've just designed and printed...

Where we create

I always like to see where people work so here's some photos of our current studio space (aka our spare room). It can be a tad crowded when we're both in there, and hot too at the moment as we're in the clutches of a crazy heatwave - cue much cussing from C about the ink drying in the screen mid-print run!

Those are more tea cosies on the desk which we're busy printing at the moment for our etsy shop so I'm surrounded by a sea of wadding, drying fabric and Ru's new yellow 'dig-dig'...

If you fancy a nose around some far more glamorous and spacious studios check out this beautiful website by photographer Paul Barbera called wheretheycreate - definitely worth a look.

Stall Envy...

With the St.Catherine's June market looming C and I have been trying to come up with something to make our stall a little less shabby and a little more interesting. Then we saw this on Etsy's blog from the lovely Something's Hiding In Here and we now officially have stall envy (not to mention shop/home/workspace envy - we love these guys)!

Keeping it country...

Just thought I'd post some photos of the walk me and Ru do most mornings around the field behind our house. I love that Spring has finally sprung and that Scout the dog forces us out everyday.

Open for Business..

We're open on Etsy.. now! Yay. Although its taken us about four hours to list two items so no time for blogging! How do people do it all?! More things to follow as soon as we can.
Oh and we finally put our faces to this blog.. thought we'd make use of the posh camera borrowed from my lovely Dad. Scary stuff.

Open All Hours.. nearly

Our etsy shop is very nearly there.. finally!

If only the camera we'd borrowed from my Dad hadn't decided to die before we'd finished taking all the product shots we wanted. They only live a few miles away but popping over for a third time seemed a drive too far - once for the camera, once for the tripod and now we need the charger! Wish I was the organised type! Doh.

So here's a little sneak peek to coin a phrase from the lovely Design Sponge* blog..
Hope you like.

To market, to market...

Well.. we finally made it. Its been a busier than busy two weeks after we got the news we'd made the cut for a stall at the St Catherine's market. We've not had time for anything but designing, printing and sewing (and a wee bit of childcare thrown in).. and so no blogging either. Rubbish.

But.. it did go well and despite the rain and freezing temperatures we made a few sales, got loads of positive feedback and met some really lovely people. We may even be appearing in a shop someday soonish! Hurrah.

Here are some photos of our stall and the lovely cobbled hilly St Catherine's area of Frome.
